Okay, I’ll admit it: I’m completely hooked on the idea of Apple’s Vision Pro. The whole spatial computing thing, being able to interact with apps in 3D space, it’s just mind-blowing. But let’s be real, that price tag is a tough pill to swallow. So when I heard rumors about a “Vision Standard Edition” – a more affordable version – my ears perked up.

Now, word on the street is that this Standard Edition could drop as early as June 2025. June! That’s almost a year ahead of the initial fall 2025 whispers. And honestly, I’m getting my hopes up.

Imagine this: It’s a sunny June afternoon. Apple’s iconic keynote music plays, and Tim Cook walks on stage. He starts talking about how they’ve been listening to users, and boom! He unveils the Vision Standard Edition. It’s lighter than the Pro, maybe around 400 grams, but still packs a punch with high-resolution displays and that immersive magic.

The best part? It’s priced to move. Not dirt cheap, this is Apple after all, but something that makes me think, “Okay, I can actually justify this.”

See, I’m not a developer or a hardcore techie. I’m just a regular person who gets excited about technology that feels like it could truly change the way we live and work. The Vision Pro, with its price and focus on developers, felt a bit out of reach. But this Standard Edition? That feels like it could be my ticket to the spatial computing revolution.

June 2025 can’t come soon enough. Until then, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and hoping those rumors pan out.
