You guys, I’m so excited about this! Remember all those times you’re rushing to catch the LRT, and you realize you forgot to grab cash for your Touch ‘n Go? Or maybe you’re stuck at the ticket counter with a huge line behind you, frantically digging for coins in your bag? Yeah, those days are OVER!

Rapid KL just announced that all their counters now accept debit and credit cards. I swear, I did a little happy dance when I saw the news. This is HUGE for commuters like me! It’s honestly about time; we’re living in a digital world, and constantly needing cash for transport felt so outdated.

Imagine: you can just breeze through the counter, tap your card, and be on your way. No more stress, no more delays. Plus, it feels safer somehow, not having to carry around wads of cash. This new system is going to make my daily commute so much smoother.

I tried it out this morning, and it was a breeze. Just tapped my card, got my tokens, and I was good to go. And you know what’s even better? This applies to everything – buying tokens, topping up your Touch ‘n Go, even getting your monthly My50 pass.

I know some people still prefer using the ticket machines, but honestly, this is way more convenient. Rapid KL is really stepping up their game and making public transport more user-friendly. It’s great to see them embracing technology and making things easier for us commuters. Now, if only they could do something about those rush hour crowds…
