Hey guys, did you see that new iPhone 15 concept design floating around? Jonas Daehnert, this awesome industrial designer, came up with it, and it’s making me seriously nostalgic. Remember the good old days of the iPhone 6 and 7 with their sleek metal bodies? This design takes me right back! It’s all aluminum, with polished edges and those visible antennas that used to be a thing. I’ve always been a sucker for a good metal phone, and I’m really hoping Apple takes some inspiration from this. Don’t get me wrong, the glass is nice and all, but there’s just something about the feel of a metal phone in your hand, you know?
And speaking of phones that are getting me hyped, the Sony Xperia 1 VI is about to drop! The announcement is on May 15th, and from the leaks I’ve been seeing, this phone is going to be a beast, especially for camera nerds like me. We’re talking a 48MP main camera with Sony’s new LYT800 sensor, plus a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP telephoto lens. Sony always kills it in the camera department, so I’m super excited to see what this thing can do.
Oh, and there’s some chatter about OnePlus changing up their camera design for the OnePlus 13. Apparently, they’re going for a more centered camera module like the OnePlus 7T, which I think is a smart move. I wasn’t a huge fan of the offset circle design on the OnePlus 12, to be honest.
It’s a good time to be a tech enthusiast, am I right? Between the new iPhones, Sony’s camera innovations, and whatever OnePlus is cooking up, there’s a lot to look forward to. What are you guys most excited about?
