Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m an Apple fanboy. And when Apple announced the new iPad Pro this morning, my jaw dropped. Not just because of the M4 chip (which, duh, is amazing), but because they finally ditched the LCD screen and went all-in on OLED. And not just any OLED, a double-stacked one!

Remember how everyone was worried about OLED brightness on a big screen like the iPad? Apple just blew those concerns out of the water with their Tandem OLED tech. They stacked two OLED layers on top of each other, resulting in a crazy brightness level of over 1000 nits! And if that’s not enough, it can hit a peak brightness of 1600 nits in HDR. Honestly, I can’t wait to see how vibrant and detailed everything looks on this thing.

And then there’s the ‘Ultra Retina XDR’ display. Yeah, that’s the same fancy Nano Texture glass Apple uses on their Pro Display XDR monitors. The catch? It’s only available on the 1TB and 2TB models. I’m really tempted to splurge, but my wallet is already starting to sweat.

Don’t even get me started on the M4 chip. This thing is a beast, especially if you go for the 1TB or 2TB models with the full 10-core CPU. I’m already imagining the smooth multitasking and graphics-intensive games I’ll be able to play. And let’s not forget the improved Apple Pencil with its haptic feedback and the redesigned Magic Keyboard. Apple, you’re really trying to bankrupt me, aren’t you?

The price is definitely steep, especially for the fully loaded 13-inch model. We’re talking almost $3,000 here! It’s a serious investment, but knowing Apple, this thing will probably last me for years. I’m still debating whether to go all out, but one thing’s for sure, this iPad Pro is a real game-changer. Apple has truly outdone itself this time.
