So, I was scrolling through Facebook today, you know, just doing my usual social media rounds, and BAM! Perbadanan Putrajaya (that’s Putrajaya’s administration for those not in the know) dropped some seriously exciting news. They’re running test runs for the Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit (ART), that super cool, futuristic train-like thing, right here in Putrajaya! And guess what? It’s free to ride until July 31st! Like, seriously free!I gotta admit, seeing those sleek, modern ART vehicles gliding through the streets is pretty darn impressive. It’s like something straight out of a sci-fi movie! But don’t worry, it’s totally safe and ready for passengers. They’re using this trial period to make sure everything is running smoothly, and we, the lucky public, get to be part of the action. They’ve got two different routes planned out: one for weekdays (Monday to Friday) and a different one for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Both routes start at the MRT Putrajaya Sentral station, which is super convenient for getting around. On weekdays, the ART goes all the way to D.Wawasan/Kompleks F before looping back to the MRT station and ending at the Depot P9 station. On weekends, it heads towards IOI City Mall – perfect for a bit of weekend shopping! The schedules are pretty straightforward too. Three trips per day, starting at 8:30 am, then 11:30 am, and the last one at 2:30 pm. They wrap up by 5:30 pm, but they did mention that it might stretch to 6:30 pm depending on how things go. Makes sense, gotta stay flexible!I’m already planning my free ART trips! It’s a fantastic chance to experience this cutting-edge technology and explore Putrajaya in a whole new way. And hey, who doesn’t love free stuff? If you’re in the area, don’t miss out. Head over to Perbadanan Putrajaya’s Facebook page for all the details. Trust me, it’s gonna be awesome!
