You guys, I am SO hyped about this news! Remember all the buzz around the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 coming out soon? Well, it’s actually happening! Apparently, it’s launching in October, and guess who’s getting it first? Yep, Xiaomi, with their Mi 15 series!
Now, I’m a huge fan of Xiaomi phones, and the Mi 15 Pro is shaping up to be a real beast. We’re talking a curved screen, a powerful new chip, and get this – a 50MP periscope zoom lens!
Remember those awesome zoom shots we used to get with the Mi 11 Pro? The periscope lens is back, baby! It’s going to be amazing for capturing those distant details with incredible clarity. And the fact that the Mi 15 Pro is getting a 50MP sensor for each of its three cameras – the main, wide-angle, AND telephoto – is just mind-blowing.
Honestly, I’ve been a bit disappointed with the recent Xiaomi flagships ditching the periscope lens. Those regular telephoto lenses just don’t cut it for me. They lack the zoom range and the image quality you get with a periscope setup. So yeah, I’m pretty stoked about this news. Can’t wait to see what Xiaomi has in store for us!
