Okay, so I gotta admit, when I first heard about the whole ‘Huawei AI undressing people’ thing, I was pretty skeptical. I mean, c’mon, an AI that can magically remove clothes from pictures? Sounds like something straight outta a sci-fi movie. But then I saw the videos… and yeah, it was actually kinda freaky how real it looked. Basically, there was this AI feature on the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra that was supposed to help you remove unwanted objects from your photos. You know, like that random dude photobombing your selfie or that pesky lamppost blocking your perfect sunset shot. Except, it turns out some users figured out that if you used this tool on, let’s just say, certain areas of a photo… clothes started disappearing. Like, *poof* gone! It was pretty wild to see how it could generate realistic-looking skin and details underneath, almost as if the person in the photo was never wearing anything to begin with. The internet, being the internet, obviously went nuts. Memes, jokes, you name it, it was everywhere. I gotta say, a part of me was kinda curious to try it out myself, purely for the ‘what the heck’ factor. But then again, the ethical side of me was screaming ‘nope, nope, nope!’ Thankfully, Huawei took notice and squashed this whole ‘unclothing’ glitch pretty quickly. They released an update that, according to them, fixes the AI algorithms so this doesn’t happen anymore. It’s probably for the best, honestly. As cool as the tech was, it felt a little too ‘Black Mirror’ for my liking. Plus, the whole invasion of privacy thing is just… not cool. Anyway, I guess this whole thing is a reminder that even the smartest AI can have its, uh, wardrobe malfunctions. It’s a good thing Huawei took care of it, though. Now we can all go back to using AI for less, um, revealing purposes.
