You guys know I’m obsessed with Instagram Reels, right? Like, seriously obsessed. I spend hours crafting the perfect transitions, finding the right music, and trying to make my content pop. But sometimes, it feels like all that effort goes unseen. It can be SO frustrating, you know?Well, guess what? Instagram just announced some BIG changes to their Reels algorithm, and I’m kinda freaking out (in a good way, mostly!). Let me break it down for you, from one creator to another.First off, they’re pushing original content HARD. Like, really hard. They’re replacing reposts in the Suggested Posts section with fresh, original Reels. And reposts? They’ll be slapped with a label linking back to the original creator. I think this is HUGE! It gives credit where credit is due and makes those copycats think twice about stealing content. The other big thing is they’re cracking down on aggregator accounts, those accounts that just re-share other people’s content. They’re basically out of the game, which, honestly, I’m totally here for! It always felt unfair that they were getting all the views while the creators were left in the dust. Instagram’s also weeding out accounts that just re-post a ton. They want to see people putting in the effort to create original stuff. I gotta say, I’m totally on board with this! This whole update feels like Instagram is finally listening to creators like me. They’re trying to create a more level playing field where everyone has a chance to shine, not just the big accounts or those who resort to reposting.I’m really excited to see how these changes will impact my reach and engagement. It feels like a fresh start, a chance for my creativity to truly shine. It also motivates me to keep pushing myself and creating awesome content. After all, that’s what it’s all about, right? What do you guys think about this update? Let me know in the comments! And hey, don’t forget to check out my Reels while you’re at it! 😜
