Okay, I’m starting to think I’m cursed or something. Twice this week, my iPhone alarm has decided to take a vacation, leaving me scrambling to get ready and arriving late to important appointments. I’m usually pretty good about waking up on time, so I knew something was off. Turns out, I’m not alone! A bunch of iPhone users have been complaining about their alarms mysteriously failing to go off. I even saw a report in the Wall Street Journal saying that Apple knows about the issue and is working on a fix. Talk about a relief! At first, I thought maybe I was accidentally turning off my alarms in my sleep. I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve done something weird half-asleep. But then I started reading online about a possible culprit: Apple’s “Attention Aware Features.” Apparently, this feature is supposed to lower the volume of notifications when your phone senses you’re already looking at it. Makes sense, right? But some people are saying it might be messing with alarms too, even when you’re sound asleep. Honestly, the whole thing is super frustrating. I rely on my alarm to get me through the day, and now I’m constantly paranoid about oversleeping. I even resorted to using my old clunky alarm clock as a backup, which is SO not chic. Apple, if you’re reading this, please get this fixed ASAP! I’m begging you. Until then, I guess I’ll be living in a state of constant alarm anxiety. Wish me luck!
