I’ll be honest, I was really curious about how Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 series would do in Japan. Everyone knows the Japanese market is super loyal to Apple. I mean, walk down the street in Tokyo, and it’s like everyone has an iPhone! So when Samsung delayed the S24’s release in Japan, I thought, “Oh boy, this isn’t going to be good.” But guess what? I was totally wrong!
Word on the street is that the S24 and S24 Ultra are selling like hotcakes! It’s pretty amazing considering they only launched a month ago. Apparently, they’re already the third and fifth best-selling phones in the country. That’s pretty huge considering the iPhone 14 and 15 are still dominating the top spots. And get this, the S24+ hasn’t even been released in Japan yet. Imagine if all three models were available – Samsung could really shake things up!
I’ve been hearing that people are really impressed with the AI features in the S24 series. Everyone’s talking about how powerful and smooth the experience is. From what I’ve seen online, the cameras are also getting a ton of praise, especially on the S24 Ultra.
It’s funny how things turn out sometimes. I thought the delayed release would hurt Samsung, but it seems like it’s only fueled the hype. Now, everyone’s wondering if the S24 can actually outsell the iPhone in Japan. It’s definitely a long shot, but who knows? I wouldn’t rule it out completely. It’s exciting to see Samsung giving Apple some real competition in a market where they’ve been dominant for so long. It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next few months.
