Okay, so you know how much I love Nothing, right? Their design, the whole Glyph interface – I’m all in. So when I heard about their new sub-brand CMF and their first phone, the CMF Phone (1), I was all ears. And guess what? It’s looking pretty darn interesting, especially for the price.

We’re talking vibrant polycarbonate bodies in orange, white, and black, a big 6.5-inch screen, and a massive 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. That’s a whole lot of phone for a rumoured price of around RM682! I mean, come on, that’s insane value.

Sure, it’s got a single rear camera and runs on a slightly tweaked version of Nothing OS, probably missing some of those fancy AI features from the Phone (2). But honestly, that doesn’t bother me too much. Not everyone needs all the bells and whistles, and sometimes, a simpler approach is better.

What really got me excited is the potential here. CMF seems to be all about bringing that Nothing coolness to a more affordable price point. Imagine, a phone with that iconic transparent design language, but accessible to more people. That’s a pretty awesome prospect, right?

I’m really curious to see how this phone performs in real life, especially the battery life with that huge 5000mAh capacity. I’m also dying to know what other tricks CMF has up their sleeves. Will they offer transparent cases like Nothing? What about some cool accessories?

For now, all we can do is wait for the official announcement. But I’m keeping my eyes peeled and my fingers crossed! This could be the start of something really special. What do you guys think? Are you as excited as I am? Let me know in the comments!
