So I was reading this article the other day about iPad sales, and it got me thinking. I mean, I’ve got an iPad, it’s a few years old now, but it still works great! I use it for everything – reading, browsing, even streaming movies when I’m on the go. It’s so convenient, and the battery life is still pretty decent.
Apparently, Apple sold a whopping 9.9 million iPads in the first quarter of 2024! That’s insane, especially because they haven’t even released a new model yet. The article said that’s probably because of the economy being a bit shaky, and people holding back on buying new gadgets. Plus, with Apple probably gearing up to launch a new iPad soon, it makes sense that they’d want to clear out their old stock first.
But here’s the kicker – even with sales dipping a little, Apple still holds over 32% of the market share! That’s like a whole third of all tablets sold globally. It just shows how popular iPads still are, even with all the other brands out there. I guess it’s that Apple magic, you know? Their products just seem to have that extra something that keeps people coming back for more.
I’m actually kind of excited to see what the new iPad will be like. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade! But honestly, even if I don’t get a new one right away, my old iPad is still going strong. It’s proof that these things are built to last, and that’s something I really appreciate about Apple products. In a world where everything seems disposable, it’s nice to have something that’s built to go the distance.
