You guys, I am SO excited about the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 launch on May 15th! I’ve been rocking the first generation for a while now, and honestly, they’ve become a part of my daily life. From listening to podcasts on my commute to getting subtle notifications without pulling my phone out, they’re super convenient.
The news about the square frame design has me intrigued, though. I went for the classic look with the first gen, but something about a bold, fashionable frame really speaks to me this time around. I’m hoping they’ll offer a variety of colours and finishes – maybe even some limited edition collaborations like they did with the previous model. A girl can dream, right?
What I’m REALLY hoping for is some serious battery life improvement. Don’t get me wrong, 16 hours is pretty decent, but there have been times when I’ve pushed it to the limit, especially on long days out and about. If they could bump that up to 20 or even 24 hours, that would be a game-changer.
And while we’re on the topic of improvements, I wouldn’t say no to some enhanced audio quality. The current sound is clear, but I’d love a bit more depth and richness, especially for music. Maybe they could integrate some of Huawei’s audio expertise from their earbuds into the glasses.
Of course, the price is always a factor. The first generation was priced pretty reasonably, especially considering the technology packed in. I’m hoping they can keep it in a similar range for the second generation, making it accessible to more people.
Overall, I’m really optimistic about the Huawei Smart Glasses 2. The first generation was a solid foundation, and I have a feeling they’re going to knock it out of the park with this new release. May 15th can’t come soon enough!
