I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting a little impatient waiting for Apple to finally ditch the Dynamic Island and go all-in on under-display Face ID. I mean, come on! Honestly, I thought the iPhone 16 was going to be the one. I was so ready to finally have a truly all-screen experience without any notches or cutouts. But nope, looks like we’re stuck with the Dynamic Island on this year’s models and probably next year’s too. Don’t get me wrong, the Dynamic Island is kind of cool, and Apple has done a good job integrating it into the software. But it’s still a compromise, you know? It’s like a little reminder that there’s still some tech standing between us and a truly seamless display.I know some people are into the whole punch-hole camera thing, but personally, I’m not a fan. It just feels like another distraction on the screen. I want my iPhone display to be as clean and unobstructed as possible. And that means hiding *everything* under the display, including the camera.The good news is that it sounds like Apple is working on that too, and we might see it alongside the under-display Face ID in the iPhone 18 Pro.
